Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan encourages Jakartans to do preventive ways to avoid fire caused by short circuit.
Fire is mostly caused by short circuit
"Fire is mostly caused by short circuit. We encourage residents to ensure electricity usage not to overload because it can cause overheat and lead to fire," he conveyed at City Hall, Monday (1/21).
He admitted to receive fire reports almost everyday which are often caused by short circuit.
Fire Burns 165 Homes in Tomang"I always get the report when the fire incident occurred," he said.
His side ensures firefighters and related units to give fast response and handle fire quickly based on their job and function.
"We ensure them to work fast even after the post-incident. We will immediately help the victims about their needs," he asserted.
As previously reported, 165 houses were destroyed due to fire incident in Tomang Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta on Monday (1/21).
